Kate Crombie is the founder and principal of Etch Artisan Cosmetic Tattoo.
Since launching the business in 2014 Kate has established herself as one of the premier Cosmetic Tattoo and Beauty specialists in Brisbane, developing her own signature Etch Artisan style. Described by her loyal clients as “incredibly precise”, she is an expert in sculpting a full, natural, eye-opening arch for each individual.
Kate has extensive experience in all aspects of Brow, Lip and Eyeliner Tattooing having performed thousands of treatments on a diverse range of women and men. She is meticulous and strives for absolute perfection for every client, and delights in ensuring that everyone who visits the salon receives an exceptional service.
Kate has an inherent ability to read and understand her client’s goals by looking into their lifestyle and personal needs to find the best solution. Working with each client’s unique features, she believes that beauty should be effortless and natural.
With the creation of Etch Artisan Academy Kate is now able to pass on her years of training and knowledge about this industry. It is her passion to see women all over Australia finding their true passion, and establishing successful businesses that offer flexibility and a fresh start.

I just wanted to introduce myself personally (that text above sounds so formal, and not like me at all! - this is the ‘real me’, and you’ll discover that’s always what you get with me!)
On top of running Etch Artisan I’m a mum of 4 and from time to time I throw my hand into renovations - to say that my life is a juggle is an understatement! But I love it, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
When I started Etch Artisan, I can honestly say I wasn’t expecting to fall so madly in love with the industry. But, seeing women leave my studio with a great big smile on their face just lights me up - I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do and yes, I am obsessed. I have the best job in the world!
